Have you booked your Children’s First Aid course for Inset Day?

At Safety First Aid our most popular period for training Children’s First Aid is at the start of the new term in September. To make the most of your inset day we can organise for one of our experienced trainers to visit your School to carry out a 6 hours First Aid for Children’s Course.

The courses normally consist of 12 delegates, however we understand that due to time constraints and the number of pupils some Schools require larger groups to be trained, we can accommodate this.

We also offer the Children’s First Aid course at our Hendon Site, if you have a lower number or individual members of staff to be trained, as a cost effective alternative they could attend the course at our site.

For each delegate that attends they will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years, on the course the delegates will have the opportunity to practice CPR on the child manikins, and learn how to carry out the appriopate First Aid for the injuries that may occur to Children whilst in their care. The course content is as follows

  • Aims & principles of First Aid
  • Basic life Support (CPR)
  • Anaphylaxis and use of a Epipen
  • Asthma
  • Bleeding
  • Burns
  • Choking
  • Management of the unconscious casualty
  • Head injuries
